NCAA Round 1 Ticket info

Keep an eye on "Tickets for Less" Price on ticket is what you pay plus maybe tax. Tickets tend to go down closer to the event, if you can wait and don't care where you sit.

The Stub Hub prices for the second game never really went down the last time we were in Milwaukee. And I think Wisconsin was there too. I sat in the room where the Stub Hub people were handing out ticket envelopes, waiting for prices to drop, but they never did. Fortunately, I found a Wisconsin fan selling a ticket for half the market price and grabbed it before a scalper could. I got very lucky.

Wisconsin was not in Milwaukee the last time we were there. They were in Buffalo as an 8 seed and beat the defending champs Villanova. There were lots of Sconnie fans there though that weekend.

I'm planning on watching stubhub and those different sites and seeing what I get. Will probably be a 11th hour decision if I'm going or not, but I'm 90 minutes away. Hoping prices drop, but not banking on it.

Hmmm. I know I bought it from a Wisconsin fan, so I must have projected the memory of them being there.

In the bright side… at least we play before Wisconsin. So if we win, we might be able to gobble up some tickets before their game is over.

A lot of Wisconsin fans actually bought them in anticipation of ending up there because I ran into the same issue as I got mine through Vermont for the first round, but I believe they went on a bit of slump towards the end of that year that put them out contention of nearby site.

Noticed today on a secondary market site. Tickets for ISU session in Milwaukee are around $400. The Iowa session in Buffalo start at about $40. Of course no one in Iowa's session is located anywhere near Buffalo.

Best of Luck to all of you looking for tickets. I hope you find some for a reasonable price. It would be nice to get a bunch of fans there.

FYI - I made it on the Colgate ticket waitlist so nothing doing there.
This is what happened to me when we played in Denver. Waiting list for both the small schools. Come Tuesday night I got a link to purchase tickets for one, and a call to purchase two from the other

Anyone have any suggestions on where to find tickets? Will LSU have extras we can buy?

Why would they put both us and Wisconsin in the same session? Just stupid if you want to sell tickets.
Tonight (Wednesday), I should know if we have two seats available in either the ISU section or the lower level in the corner. Anyone may email me and I’ll contact them as soon as I know with the price and details.

The Badgers game finished a couple of hours before our tip-off and they all came stumbling out of the bars around the arena. A number of Wisconsin fans were at our game against Purdue though.

at the risk of stating the obvious, there are no physical tickets anymore. everything is on your phone, so no scalpers, other fans hanging out selling tickets. you're now beholden to stubhub, seatgeek, ticketmaster resale etc.

Or walk in with someone who has already downloaded their extra tickets. No middleman.
