It’s an underwhelming year at the league’s most important position, but teams will likely look to the QB position in the first round anyway.

As unimpressive as Pickett's little wiener...er... hand size? That’s an unimpressive list.
Give him time. He'll start a new thread about it later today or tomorrow.Frankly astounded that surly didn't post this because Skylar Thompson is ahead of Purdy.
I like him but for me personally, Carson Strong of Nevada is who I think will be really good.Ridder's going to eventually be the gem of this class.
I am an old guy so I remember when quarterbacks who were 6-1 were a must-have for teams. Now 6-1 seems on the short side for quarterbacks![]()

I can understand Purdy being low, but Thompson being higher than him never fails to piss me off every time.Frankly astounded that surly didn't post this because Skylar Thompson is ahead of Purdy.
Understandable but I would imagine it is looking at it more from a pro potential than collegiate achievements. Thompson is slightly bigger and I'm spit balling but might have a comparable rate of interception/turnover or slightly better.I can understand Purdy being low, but Thompson being higher than him never fails to piss me off every time.

He's not going anywhere. Hopefully the D improves back to pre 2020 and then we can be convinced that he won't ever cut it.Price for Kirk Cousins has to be high when you look at the QB's in this draft class.. Vikings better get at least half of what Denver gave Seattle
I totally get that it goes far more than production, scouts go far deeper into things. I just look at Thompson and I’m extremely unimpressed.Understandable but I would imagine it is looking at it more from a pro potential than collegiate achievements. I'd have Purdy ahead due to Thompson's injury concerns and the like but I can understand the logic - I think. Unless they're looking at something else like how we ll he looks in 7 on 7 then IDK
And don't forget, the Vikings have Nate "Buffet" Stanley on their taxi squad....Price for Kirk Cousins has to be high when you look at the QB's in this draft class.. Vikings better get at least half of what Denver gave Seattle
