Is it though? I mean Warner will get a top 4 seed for beating who this year? A Caffey that has also beat no one? The Big 10 guys all get massively seeded prior to the season and then lose to each other, fooling everyone. Then they all bomb out at nationals.
Warner was 3rd at NCAAs and is a multiple time all American.
Don’t forget Warner was a Cadet World bronze medalist. Bastida brings an international wrestling pedigree and couldn’t take down Woodley. Did he take him down in the first meeting? Both of those guys could be seeded outside of the top 10. Just because it doesn’t look hard doesn’t mean it isn’t hard. These kids are all elite.

Can someone tell me why Kysen didn’t get any near fall points when he threw Teske straight to his back? To me that is exactly what the sport is trying to promote and reward.
Because it’s not freestyle. He didn’t have control and hold him there long enough. I agree we should reward throwing someone to their back. Its a big reason I think freestyle is a better product and much easier to understand.
