Enyi’s position is very volatile. Some have him way higher, some lower.

If that's the feedback Newell is getting he might as well comeback and get a free year of grad school.

Someone in here told me Newell isn’t pursuing the NFL route due to his knees being shot. This database likely doesn’t realize that.

I believe you are correct, the draft matrix just combines a bunch of draft mocks from the "professionals" kinda like the bracket matrix does for March Madness.

Yep exactly. I wouldn’t consider it the best source. It likely weighs far too many mocks that aren’t as professional or updated as you’d think. I’d mainly stick to a few sources.

In the other thread, I have every ISU player invited to the combine’s NFL.com scouting report linked.

Yep, just like everything else it can be a usefull tool just don't treat it as gospel

My hope is that the 5th contract year for 1st round picks gets Breece snuck into the end of the 1st. That extra year can be valuable for a position where teams are hesitant to sign to a second contract.

I kinda expected the NFL to have some interest in Zach Petersen’s frame and athleticism. Is he just not interested?

Heard the same as Newell, he already accepted a job.

Great role player for us, but I didn’t see an NFL future for him anyway. I’m curious about the likes of Hummel and Eisworth though. Would imagine they get shots as UDFA’s.

Unfotunateely for Breece the NFL just doesn't value RB's in 1st rd unless you are a clear cut 1st rd RB...

Aside from QB..skill positions are a dime a dozen in NFL,

I get the feeling Enyi carves out a nice career for a few years. He's every bit as talented as Atyba Rubin, who played in the league for a while. I feel the same about Rose.

For Charlie and Breece, it's so important they go to a team that can use their talents appropriately and not a dumpster fire like the Ny jets.

I would take those results. Especially for Rose, who I think could drop to more like the 6th or 7th round. I do think that Purdy and Allen have a chance to at least make a practice squad. Mevis has a shot. He could make a team as a kickoff specialist potentially given he has a lot of versatility being able to punt and hit long FGs. But I feel like he'll probably be on a team and get cut and maybe signed by a team later if there's an injury. That's kind of how it goes with Kickers unless you are a super freak.

I have very little doubt that Enyi will make a team. He answered the one question people had and that was his motor. He's big enough to play inside and still play outside some too. 4-3 DT or 3-4 DE. That versatility and his size will pay off for him. Whether he actually gets drafted is another question.
