We need a good QB. AP has only 3 more years then he will be Physically Spent. We need to go out and get a good QB, not waste 3 years developing one to find he still isn't worth a Damn.

Disagree with that. He'll last longer simply because Chester Taylor takes some of the load. He also doesn't get hit very often. He's normally the one giving the punishment.

I think Mike is still working on the Randy Ratio, As a Travel Agent for the Love Boat, and at Stub Hub trying to broker Superbowl Tickets....
anyway, I think he is tied up at the moment.......:confused:
 
Childress gets one more year and then if he doesn't win at least one game in the playoffs, he's gone.

Ziggy will have a chance to pick up one of the big name coaches that are floating around out there, like Shanahan or Cower.

The timer is ticking, but for the short-term, Childress is safe.
 
I wish Minnesotans were as concerned about the state of their election integrity and the general health of the Representative Democracy as they are about spectator sports. Truly a circus maximus.
Who's fault is this? Hershel Walker or Dante Culpepper?
 
childress didn't throw a pick for a touchdown and allow punt/kickoff returns that alone put them in FG position.

A better QB would help a ton. I am a viking fan and not all that upset with this loss. Childress will get another year. I thought they were a little conservative and that needs to change for next season.

So Childress didn't choose his quarterbacks for this season? (who by the way, tossed that perfect touchdown pass right to the defense) Ziggy opened his pocketbook last off season, there were quality QB's available and he passed because T-jak was the second coming of mcnabb. I think bc figured out the only way to save his job this season was to put in a 38 yr old. I agree he bought himself another year...8-8 here we come again....ugh

Are you kidding me? Mike, "I'm doing my best to look like I know what I'm doing" Tice?

Childress has improved his win total by 2 games each season. We need to bring him back under 1 circumstance... they bring in a QB. I'm not sure what the guy has against playing a QB at the QB position.

I heard they tried to get Sage but the Texans said he was too valuable to let go. In other words the Vikes weren't willing to pay enough. Well enough is enough. Vikes are a Super Bowl contender with a QB.

Coaches and players are only human. Just because they're paid big bucks don't make them perfect. And referring to the post above, hind sight is always 20/20.
