Pollard on Cyclone Club Level Changes

Dang, 50% increase is a lot.

Havent watched the video but safe to assume they will be reseating both football and basketball next year.

I didn’t watch the whole video and will get my packet/call in the coming weeks… but did they say anything about basketball seating? You have to be at 5k for lower level tickets now… so I assume I’ll have to jump to $7500 to keep my seats. Not 100% sure it’s worth the extra $2500.

Honest question; what do schools make on beer sales at football games?

West Virginia:

The stadium earned nearly $1.4 million in gross beer and wine sales during the 2018 season. It earned nearly $1.3 million the previous year. WVU Athletics received 52% of revenue from the alcohol sales, meaning it made $675,965 in commissions in 2018, said associate athletic director for communications Michael Fragale.

All Victory level seating will be off of a $7,500 base donation per 4 seats. There will will not be an overall reseating of either FB or MBB as the new donation levels will do most for changing seating based on locations.

2022 Cyclone Club brochure:

FAQS: ANNUAL GIVING LEVELS
Are Jack Trice Stadium and Hilton Coliseum being re-seated?
NO. We are NOT re-seating either venue, nor are we changing the priority seating sections for either facility.
We are simply increasing the amounts tied to our annual giving levels (except Century). The amount tied to the majority of our annual
giving levels — Century, States, Cardinal, Gold, Captains and Victory — has not changed in over 35 years.
As long as you make the NEW annual donation amount, at your respective level, your seat location will remain the same for the
2022 football and 2022-23 men’s basketball seasons.

That’s what I was thinking.

I’m not wanting to be cheap… but it might be time it to split the donation with family or friends and split tickets for MBB. Our MBB tickets is the only hiccup to dropping to Captains at this point.

The data showing where we stand in comparison to our peer universities is somewhat embarrassing. Of course I'm throwing stones down here at my State level donation.

Don‘t apologize for being a donor at any level or even a non donor season ticket holder. We can all do more, 6K donors is a significant factor.
