Vikings/Cardinals can't sell tickets...games may be blacked out

Per the NFL rules, the games must be sellouts to be broadcast on TV. The Cardinals have 5,600 tickets left to sell while the Vikings have 11,000.

For the Viking game, you can get 28th row at the 50 for $160...Ouch!

Let's say the Viking game gets blacked out because they can't get enough tickets sold for a playoff game.

I saw a report similar to this yesterday and went to get tickets and they were sold out on ticketmaster.

Welcome to the hell of being a Cubs fan in Des Moines. 5 hours away from Chicago, but we are in their home market, so we're constantly blacked out.

Oh, and we're also the home markets of the Royals, Twins and White Sox.

I just went through the Ticketmaster link on the Vikings website, and found two lower level tickets for $160 each + fees. That is an insane price.

EDIT: Looks like even the upper level tickets are $160. No wonder they can't sell out. I can get 3rd row of the upper level on the 50 yard line right now. I'll bet there's more than 11k tickets available.

I think the ouch is that they are still available through Ticket master for face value.

That guy is asking $325 for two tickets. That's a couple bucks less than Ticketmaster after all their fees. I don't have a favorite NFL team, but I can't imagine paying that much for Wild Card tickets unless they were pretty good seats. I'd maybe pay that much for conference championship tickets.
