NFL: Cris Carter says Jerry should put a bullet in T.O.

Comment is a bit over the top, however I hate TO and the circus he turns his teams into. The NFL will be a better place when he retires.
 
I remember hearing that yesterday on the radio and thinking "WTF." The radio hosts he was talking to changed the subject really quick.

A couple of comments.

1.) In what way shape or form is he an expert on what it takes to win a championship? He never won jack.

2.) TO is by no means the issue with the Cowboys. That starts at the top. He certainly doesn't help matters with his crying. But, he's not even close to the reason they failed miserably this season...

I agree. I look forward to the day where I am not forced to root for T.O.

I noticed that too in the clip. Didn't even acknowledge it.

T.O. is a huge reason Dallas struggled. His track record of helping teams implode is well documented. And then some Cowboy player spoke out but in secrecy, causing more issues. But the underlying problems are T.O. and Wade - I'm not sure in what order.

Romo has to go out of his way in order to make sure T.O. is happy instead of just finding the open guy. Jason draws up more plays for T.O. and the offense looks stagnant - T.O. blames play calling. Ok T.O., which is it?

I don't think he needs bullet put in him. Cris commenting on T.O. is like the blind leading the blind.
 
I heard this yesterday as well, and am really surprised is has not been picked up Nationally......?

The thing that concerns me, is what kind of message does these statements send to our youth....?

Not to mention that in the NFL, I believe would be extra sensative to shooting anybody or a analogy to that aspect. In the last couple years that have lost like 4-5 players due to shooting deaths, and then add in the mentallity of Pacman and Plaxico.....

I guess, I'm surprised that Chris Carter has kept his job for these ridiculously stupid comments.....
 
Cris Carter cleaned his act up quite a bit but in his younger days he wasn't a whole lot different than T.O.
 
I find it absolutely hilarious that Chris Carter and Keyshon Johnson sit there on Sunday Countdown and rip some of these WRs.

TO is quickly going to eclipse Carter's numbers, which hurts Cris' chances or timeframe for getting in the Hall of Fame. That is what this is about.

Cris has been a creep and a tool lately. He always seems to pick against the Vikes and belittles them a lot. Don't know why he has gone so downhill, but this comment is way out of line and much worse than anything Limbaugh said.
