I'm getting it because they have been recommending everyone get a booster after a 6 months
Plus, we have grandkids not yet vaccinated who we're going to see for Christmas. The 5-yr-old (as of 11-21) isn't yet vaccinated because apparently appointments are taking a long time where they live.
I actually had DH video me getting my booster so I could show grandkid that I got the same thing he will get. Maybe I can show him when we're out there.

That's quite an accomplishment being that we have been bombarded with Covid for nearly 2 years now
Self employed, work alone. Put in good hours. Free time is chasing kids. Since every Covid discussion usually was like discussing the A topic I just avoid those the few times I am in social functions. Figure good time to use the restroom or something.

Precaution. A mixture of having asthma and not having sick days I don't want to deal with it.
Didn't actually "like" you having asthma, but it's my issue as well (as long as being a "senior". We got the boosters due to age and and a concern for our lung issues - he spent 1.5 years battling histoplasmosis, and now has mild COPD because of it. If it comes down to a booster every year like our annual flu shots, we'll be there.

Anyone else getting these in their emails? We've received two in the last week. One from "Raphaelt Chauvink", and the other from "Teessfay Neetfrren". I am NOT making these names up! Their email addies are gmail accounts. Really really BAD fakes. The only problem is, each comes with an attachment (which I did NOT click...I'm not stupid). Unfortunately, many people ARE. If the attachment doesn't work, they hook people by telling them they can cancel the charge by calling a helpline number - and then giving them all their card information so that the charge can be cancelled. Yikes!

Funny thing is, we will NEVER AGAIN have Norton. We had it way back in the early days when our boys were in high school and we all shared one computer at home. They were completely oblivious to using caution on downloads, and we ended up with the Monkey virus...no orangutan jokes please, it was a BAD virus! Cost us bucks (that we really didn't have back then) and time to get it removed & get our computer back up and running. Changed virus protection software at the same time.
