After an abysmal 2020-2021, despite returning 100% of points and rebounds, and with AJ Green (and Kimmons) back from injury/personal absence, the Panthers are struggling, at best. Down 32-25 to Jackson St. at half. Is Jacobson's time coming to an end?

Watching them tonight, it looks like a talent drop-off issue to me.

I don't know that UNI has the money to get rid of him, but it is kind of sad to see them struggling.

On the positive side, Jackson State may be hitting their stride, so to speak.

No it is not even close to Jacobson’s end.

It should be, he’s done absolutely nothing the last five years since his epic collapse in the tournament. All while being one of the top paid coaches in that conference.

Is Phyfe playing tonight? Him not being able to go 100% doesn't help their cause.

Long haul COVID. Missed a couple seasons ago due to a mysterious vertigo disorder. They miss his role as a high post passer.

You might want to do some research. The 2019 - 2020 team was 25 - 6 and MVC regular season champions.

Yeah give me their conference records for 2017 until this year. Also they wouldn’t have made the tourney that year because they choked in the conference tournament. So yeah get on that research.

I don't know but he's on the wish list of a lot of people around that program. He'd already have the job if Jake had gotten the MN job this past year.

Hiring some one from a staff that’s led them to one winning conference record in five years doesn’t seem like a great move. Especially when the only winning season was due to a recruit who he happened to be the father of.

Also lol at Jacobsen getting the Minnesota job. Maybe six years ago he was a candidate for a job like that.
