Bad Sport on Netflix

Episode 1 is about the Arizona State Basketball point shaving scandal. I had never heard of this before, but my god they made it sooooooo obvious.
There was a 30 for 30 on BC point shaving once that was pretty good too.

I recommend the Danbury Trashers documentary if you haven't seen. It was part of the sports documentaries they put out with the malice at the palace which was meh but the Danbury Trashers was one of my favorite sports docs.

Great series. Watch the Danbury Trashers one about the minor league hockey team. Great stuff.

Good series. Hoops point shaving, drug smuggler racer, Italian soccer ref manipulation, Olympic ice skating judges, horse murders, cricket match fixing.

Seeing Jamie Salé again was nice.

Yeah watched it and it was pretty good. The Drug smuggling race car driver was even a better episode I thought.

When they get into the scale of his smuggling it's insane. The crazy part was how he was able to just show up at those races outspending Porsche and Ford, and the FBI wasn't at his doorstep immediately.

I like how it ends on 'Eventually you got to start paying athletes or it's going to happen again.' If only we could find a way to do this....

It was good, I really wish Benny Silman was a part of it, kind of want to research why he wasn't. Couldn't hurt his image as these docs are well received. I don't feel ill will regarding the Chicago guy.

It makes me wonder how often this has happened though over time. They got busted at a time the trail was real easy to follow when your dealing with that large of in house bets. Now with everyone having online gambling, and the amount of prop bets that can be made (even though you can't on individuals which obviously has good reason), you'd think it'd be easy to sneak a lot through.
