Tyler Goodson announcement

He was very highly thought of before the season. He was supposed to be the best or close to the best RB in the B10. Now, I have no idea what he did this year, but I didn't see him on any of the list Hall was on and Iowa struggled to get over 250 yards in a lot of their games. I just don't see the ISU OL being better than Iowa's with a first team all American anchoring it, so why was he not more productive?

To be fair, people didn't exactly fear their passing game.

I think the scouts will take into consideration how bad the BIG west is in their evaluations. I think Goodson is getting some bad advice and would not be surprised if Kirk was the one giving it to him.

He'll get a bump just being an Iowa RB. Remember, NFL front offices are stupid and there are still a lot of old-school coaches who still like to run the pro-style offense Iowa continues to run. As long as his pro day isn't bad, I bet he'll get drafted.

I bet so. His parents are crazy based on what I've heard. I think they gave him this bad advice and they're in for a rude awakening
"Look, we got a quarterback better than Jared Goff, we're going to open up the passing game next year."

Tyler hasn't exactly been the sharpest knife in the drawer.... It all started when he made his college choice. Kinda tells you that the "gates are down and the lights are flashing.... but no train is coming down the tracks."

I don't buy any of that for a second. Goodson was a decent running back. He danced around too much for my taste, but he also made a lot of big plays too.
"Decent" aka shouldn't leave early. Especially as a RB which is devalued and plentiful in the league.

The fact he couldn't produce in the Big Ten West and thinks he is an NFL player is the definition of delusional
