5th Year Brock

It’s not going to get any better with another season.
Unfortunately, I think this is the answer. I am not sure if Purdy has much of a chance of NFL success, but I also don't know that sticking around does him any favors. If there was any indication that we were willing to make a coaching change on the offensive side of the ball, that could potentially change, but that seems very unlikely at this point.

You could argue that a new offense could provide a nice boost to Purdy's stats and he could work with that coordinator in almost a graduate assistant-type role to provide value to a QB room in the NFL with the potential to hang around in the league as a back-up because of his high IQ for a lot of years, but that doesn't seem like a move Campbell is willing or able to make at this point and even if he was, there's no guarantee that Purdy would go for it or it would ultimately work out.

I think Boyz II Men said it best: "It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday."

He won't get drafted
Honestly, that's almost better at this point. Unless he really wows at the combine, it's unlikely he will get drafted in the first four rounds. If you're not getting drafted in the first four rounds, it seems like it always works out better for the QBs that go undrafted and get a UDFA deal with a team that runs a system that he will fit nicely with an established QB room that he can provide value to with football IQ and continue to develop under some seasoned veterans/coaches and (hopefully) an established starter.

Can’t wait for the Dekker era.
I am very excited about the proimise he's shown - at the same time - its a situation where you don't want to ignore what you've had and what has been accomplished.

Might be what comes next be better? Maybe? IDK - no one does, its the great unknown. But even when moving on ffrom the past, be mindful and appreciative of it and now I am done waxxing philosophy lol

Hunter was is the best high school QB to ever come out of Iowa. He is more physically talented, and it is possible he will take a couple of those records from Brock.

Lol no. IF Brock were to come back (he's not), he's guaranteed the starting spot. It's dumb to think otherwise. That's like saying if Tom Brady were to go back to New England, Mac Jones should still be the starter.

Supposedly some of the coaching staff wanted to start Dekkers this year. Purdy's experience put him over the edge.

Purdy has developed as much as he can with this staff. If he returned I think he would stagnate.

I assume Purdy gets drafted but if he doesn't I wouldn't be shocked I guess. I'm not sure what his draft outlook looks like and I'm not sure what it has to do with him as a college QB
Nate Stanley got drafted. Clearly a qb heads and shoulders above Brock so he has no chance.
