I love Iowa, but Kirk needs to be shown some accountability. Does not mean I wont root for my team though. I believe his heart is in the right place, but he does not seem like he is going to change saying something like that publicly. Strikes me as his way is the only way type. He should fly down to Texas Sunday and apologize to Duece and his family IMO. But he wont. at least get on the phone with him and explain your remarks. I would be pretty upset if that was my kid. Maybe he retires if he wins the Big and a Rose Bowl...... Both are not really realistic though with the offensive philosophy.
If I were him I'd go apologize in person to all the former players he discriminated against first

He will. The kid was a huge positive for recruitment with that class. He has talent, could see him going to some Texas school now.
