I remember the Loons' first ever home MLS game. We were freezing in TCF and they had to sweep snow off the lines. Bring it on...Two qualifying cycles ago, I drove with my son from St. Paul to KC for the last home qualifier against Jamaica. While I'm excited to have a game in my city, it's hard to get excited about outdoor soccer in February in Minnesota. I understand the strategy against Honduras, but I can't imagine that the US players are all that excited about it either.
Relax. If you had any idea what our national team deals with when they travel to CONCACAF countries the cold is a minor inconvenience. Its ridiculous and borderline unsafe to have a game in Feb in MN. Also there going to Columbus again which is dumb when there are so many other options in MW (KC?) or east coast (DC/Philly/Etc.).

This was so memorable:Because, it would be a home game for Honduras. That is why they no longer play games on the east coast in major metro areas.

Wrong. This is embarrassing for the United States team. You have a home field and you play it in one of the coldest cities in the coldest month? That's terrible. Expect injuries on both sides. BTW that is not a home field advantage thing either. It's not like the American team practices in artic weather. So both teams will be freezing cold. I could understand Kansas City where it would be pretty chilly but Minneapolis is stupid and could prove unsafe.
