2021 Stock Market

People must think they are the next Tesla. Tesla still seems way over valued, I think once Ford gets going on their EV lineup they will compete. I would rather have a ford than a Tesla in Iowa because it can get repaired much easier. Doing lots of research right now because I am going to get an EV for my next vehicle to try it out.
The dealership thing may be a big deal for a lot of buyers but I wasn't real worried since they have someone that can come to your house.
I know that when I was considering a Model Y they kept sending me invites to go and test drive. I was really close to buying one and will probably go that route when my wife decides to get something new. For homes that have two vehicles, having a mix of EV and ICE seems like a great option.

I'm still chilling on a bunch of money in AMC from back in Jan.

I don't gamble on sports, so this is kinda my thing. To the moon baby! LOL

How is gamestop still up there? The stores are dead and they lose a ton of money?
The reddit mob thinks the short interest being reported isn't accurate and that there are some large short positions still out there to the tune of 200+% of the total shares available, so the short squeeze that started in January never really happened to its full extent and market manipulation through dark pools have allowed larger institutions to kick a ticking time bomb down the road.

Ford would be a good proxy investment for believers as they own 12% of Rivian. Ford is also proof that all the EV manufacturers are insanely overvalued. IMO, their EV program is currently the top among legacy manufacturers.

They will more than be able to compete. Even if their technology, range, etc. is not up to that of TSLA, the cars themselves are much, much better.

I like GGPI as an EV play (Polestar). Much more realistic valuation compared to Rivian - basically 1%.

I've been hearing random ads for Polestar on Podcasts, which does tell me they are starting to try to expand though. These are on pods so they aren't targeted to me either, this is broad brush advertising.

Agreed on Ford. The Mustang has been somewhat popular and the F150 Lightning is going to be a game changer. GM also has a good CEO that seems all in on EV's. Stellantis will just keep selling Chargers and Rams for the next 100 years.
