Rigged Officiating

Y'all still complaining about refs and ignoring the fact that a bad team put up 500 yards against us and drove the ball with ease.

But no! The refs are the only reason

literally no one is saying the refs were the only reason.

it’s just as foolish to not acknowledge that the refs played a big part.

you are not morally superior if you say the refs didn’t matter.

No one last week was complaining on the missed call for Oklahoma State that allowed us to secure the win.
what blown call was that? the spot? you can't pull a ballcarrier forward

they missed a call on the okie state ol for doing that, but they were still short anyway

We need to get out of the Big 12.
I remember Nebraska saying this before they left- they’re being treated even worse now in the BIG. Winning fixes the officiating conspiracies. Nebraska has been awful lately- funny how that corresponds with their belief the refs are against them too.

Plus, let’s say we went to another P5- do you really believe we’d be treated better as the new guy on the block? We’d get better treatment in a conference where we have even LESS of a footprint?! You guys gotta wake up.

Was one of the smaller crowds I have seen at a Big 12 game this year.(KU doesn't count). So if they were intimidated by that crowd they should all be fired.

They must have been listening to the announce crew, they wouldn’t shut up about the crowd and how loud and great it was.

No one pays attention to you because your constant representation of yourself as some kind of omniscient internet life form is ******* dumb.

I’m waiting for you to continue your argument as to why we need to leave the Big 12 over poor officiating. Please tell us more about how that would work.

Yet, here you are responding to me…well played genius.

Next please.

Oh you think we’re having a conservation? I was insulting you dork. You being so stupid as to conflate my insult to me responding to the substance of your post just further proves my point.

Yessss- the point of you ignoring me by responding to me…looks like I’ve been outwitted again by you.

Go back to complaining about the refs- we’re all listening.

Ok- the officiating was terrible…but my point still stands: our team has to find a way to over come it. WVU is not that good- it shouldn’t even have been close.

Complaining about it after the fact just makes us look like the ToE’s fans and we’re better than that. Every time we beat iowa (when we used to on a regular basis anyway)- those clowns always had two lines:
1. Bad officiating
2. If the game was played later in the season, we’d beat you.

I personally don’t want our fans to resemble anything related to hok fans. The officiating sucked, but we beat us, not the refs. Own it and move on. Don’t whine.

Sure, but that's not the point. You can sit up there and act like you're above the complaining, but this wasn't a missed spot of the ball. It was two egregious calls with obvious replays that made a huge impact on winning and losing. It was incompetence, and that deserves to be ridiculed, and we're right to be angry.

EDIT: Just read all of your posts and regret responding in earnest.

Yeah making the call is one thing in those quick 'bang bang' situations but to look at the replay and just sort of shrug it off is pretty wild.

Although heck if ISU had a 2 TD lead yesterday in the 4th I didn't trust the lead with how things had been going.

I just watched the 60 minute replay of MSU/Mighigan and as bad as their defenses are/were, ISU's was even worse.

Let’s say we accept your premise…and by all means, I agree, the officiating was terrible, but are other teams experiencing this, or is it just poor Iowa State?

Are other teams experiencing this, or is it just "poor" Iowa State? Yesterday's game as sample.........all 3 controversial reviewable replay's went in favor of WVU. The "fumble" at the goal line had three different calls from three different officials. TD, knee down before TD and fumble. What did they call first...TD. Which is the only one that screws ISU? Which did they pick?

Like many have said.....these aren't your average scream at the television, please call holding issues you see every game....all game. The WVU receiver whose feet never touched ground, the play clock at 0 for a couple of seconds......and the "fumble" all directly resulted in points being put on the board for them.........and taken off for us. As bad as our defense played.........they call those correctly we are 6-2 not 5-3.
