Has anyone paid any attention to what UNLV has been playing on? I know the Raiders use the retractable natural grass, no clue for UNLV though.

It's turf. Raiders play on grass and roll the field in for their games, roll it back out to grow outside a la Arizona Cardinals stadium. UNLV has field turf that stays in the stadium all of the time.

Do you ever think, maybe our society/civilization has jumped the shark and we've lost the plot? Like the Romans staging naval battle re-enactments in the Coliseum?
