What caused ISU to change their policy today with an email saying for the game this Saturday all of the cement lots will be 1st come 1st serve?

This sounds like a hack! I would not pay any attention to something like that!

Fore warned is fore armed. If the north lots aisles are blocked so a car cannot gt down to find a space, as the AD has warned in the past things may change,....eg all park as they drive in like other parking venues.

First come, first serve to those that have permits for the respective lots. There is no saving parking spaces for your friends.

Each individual lot is first come, first served, just like always. Not all concrete lots combined.
In reading the email again it says none of those lots are reserved. Maybe that means you don't have an assigned spot in a cert lot. If that's the case people know that. People are used to parking in those lots and know you don't have an assigned spot to park.

Now that the electronic parking passes have a fake row and seat number my guess is they're hammering home that those don't mean anything for these lots.

Yes, “we” know that. I thought perhaps the message was reminding people they can’t walk in/enter the lots and save/reserve a spot for their friends with passes.

That is what confused me on those, was the spot numbers on the digital tix. Made me wonder if they were going to spots. That is why I asked here the other day.

I am curious if it was about that or about the people going in to hold spots before the lots open.
