I like the concept and it takes some skill and creativity to do what he/she did there, but it reminds me a tad too much of the ASU pitchfork.

I like the concept and it takes some skill and creativity to do what he/she did there, but it reminds me a tad too much of the ASU pitchfork.
I wish the first bar or the "i" didn't have the little extension on the bottom right. Makes it look like the logo could be USU or LSU.
The I is in the middle. The bars on the right and left make up the U of ISU.
I’d really like to know why it took us this long to embrace the Trice stripes.
I think it's a 'layered' I-S-U the little ticks on the outside bars close the U
The Jack Trice stripes are great the way they are. No need to add the I State logo or put ISU in them.
Yeah I feel the same. Just embrace the stripes as a secondary logo (which we have) and if you want to toss em on a helmet for a game, by all means do so.

Yeah I like it better now. Still looks like a pitch fork but I do like it better.
It's cool. But nah. We're already bordering on overusing the Trice stripes. Changing them and reusing them just makes more of a mess.
Jack Trice Stripes are fine as is. If anything I want more love given to the old twister.
chrome is just kind of tricky to mock up because of the spectrum of intensity. here is a slightly darker version but you can see it starts to flatten out the logo if you get rid of the brighter brights. the actual chrome helmets we've worn are pretty red if you recall. when the light hits them it's going to be super vibrant.
