Actually I think he did one a couple of years ago. With the old tornado decal.
The image looked cool but I'm not sure it could be pulled off in real time.
This came up in a search (left) and I wonder if Kagavi put this together as they came up in the search?
I hear we are wearing pink uniforms to mess with Iowa’s heads.
Once, against Iowa that I know. It was when shaggy hit the 5 FGs. Throw backs to the 78 team.
I'm calling a surprise uniform this week. I'm feeling some kind of throwback or a tribute theme. My only source is my crazy mind.
Maybe the W/B/W like we did for that TCU game a couple years ago?
I heard a rumor the players didn’t like the all cardinals, so I’d be surprised to see that again.
This post above shows exactly how clueless you are.... and the others who on here who have said we can't wear our away uniforms at home.
Newsflash.... we can wear whatever the h*ll we want at home.... as long as we let Iowa know in advance.
Which is why we should go W/W/W or C/W/W. Mostly for the heat factor.... but also because our all whites are easily our best look.
As many have said.... let the team wear whatever they want.... so if they want to wear all black, so be it. Hawk fans will love it if we do, which is another reason why we shouldn't. I also wouldn't want to be Brock Purdy staring into just a sea of black helmets and not knowing which team is which.
Here's an idea.... a compromise.... we wear all whites, BUT it is the all white helmet with black stencil I-State logo on it, the all white jersey with black lettering (this is new I believe, but I thought I saw somewhere where we do have it?), and the white pants with the black I-State logo on the hip. That would look sweet, and not be so hot. The only thing that would make this uniform look even better would be to swap out the black stencil logo on the helmet and go with our cardinal and gold I-State logo on it instead.... just to add some of our school colors to the look.
Except we haven’t done it in decades outside of a throwback game. The rule changed in the 80s where home teams wore their colors and away teams wear their whites, and ISU hasn’t done anything to go against that. They’re not doing it here either. Move on from it.
I prefer BBW or BWW.
