I agree with what you are saying completely! But...Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State want to consider themselves elite and not sure that will happen as the SEC evolves into some sort of minor league for the NFL! If those three feel left out of the "elite" college football conference...it won't be too long until they make changes as well.

Houston Chronicle reporting UH's formal vote to join the Big 12 is expected next week.
I expect BYU, UH, UC, UCF all join up officially effective 7/1/2025 and then the next step is just wait for Texas/Oklahoma/SEC to make us an offer. In the meantime if we want to talk B1G or Pac-12 nothing is stopping us.

Huh I Also said expansion with those teams and got lots of ****. It’s still unknown and still hoping for big ten invite, but it’s looking slimmer and slimmer. Hoping for the best.
Nah, he just moved from the gazette to the Atlantic. The quality of the reporting is still the same.
nothing he writes, or really any of the writers assigned to schools, should not be viewed through the lens of being written to say what he’s told to say.
i have read some of his stuff in the Atlantic. He’s good. But like any reporter assigned to a beat, the information they release is exactly what they’re fed.
