I am guessing we go with C/C/W, which is what ISU wore against UNI in 2019
I forgot that was an option. I'd take it for Week 1. But I also wouldn't mind if W/C/W became the default uniform. Then wear black for one game a season.

W/C/C is a good look and guess. I'll second. It will also go well w UNI P/W/W.
C/C/W would look the best with the white shoes IMO. Especially if UNI comes out in black or purple/white/purple.

No changing decals, nothing like that. Just a few screws, and a power drill.
Put a white facemask on, use the black chin strap, same shoes as here, or the new white ones. Voila. Easy.
Edit: Maybe even red shoes with a little white an black in 'em.
Can't knock your passion for unis, but a cardinal helmet with a white facemask and a black chinstrap? That sounds absolutely hideous. The white shoes with cardinal accents they showed last week will help connect everything.

OK so they try that on Wed., see that the black chinstrap might not be the best. Go red chinstrap (if you have one) and black shoes with some red and white accent in the shoes. CMC likes his black in there somewhere.
The thing is, IMO, the facemask and the chinstrap are pretty easy ways to tweak certain sets.
I've come to the realization that we are not going to get a 4th, yellow or gold helmet. 4 helmets is a little over the top. Especially with insecure conference situation.
Not quite done yet, but some mocks with gold pants, cardinal helmet and jersey, gold facemask, is very doable, and cheap!

Or maybe you simply go white chinstrap, red facemask, with the C/C/W. That might do it, and very simple.
just my opinion but I am not a fan of the white helmets. At all.
I like it all except chinstrap -- make it white mask/gold chinstrap - white shoes w/ cardinal accents or cardinal shoes.
There you go. You see, order the extra gold chin straps, order a set of gold facemasks, and you've got some very cheap and easy tweaks.

UNI only has white pants. Were supposed to get a whole new set but COVID knocked it back a year. It'll be Purple/White/White.
Yes. It has been noted a few times - although I think W/C/W balances much better than C-C-W, in that regard.
A cardinal jersey white white numerals (& gold trim) would improve W-C-W and C-C-W (although to a lesser extent). Question then becomes if having a white-numeral option is necessary for any other purpose.
