He proved a lot of people wrong by playing in the NBA. Now he can still make a very good living playing overseas.
Should make a really good living overseas, as he's been very close to NBA level, but just never solidified there.
Someday I would like to take a Euro trip and see Naz, Tyrus, Melvin, Kane, Edozie, and whoever else I've forgot in all their different leagues. How fun would that be?
Good for Naz. I want him to experience as many different coaching philosophies as possible so he can one day potentially return to the ISU staff in some role when his playing days are done. He would be a great ambassador.

Maybe his most underrated clutch three is the one against UNC in the 2nd round. UNC had just hit a three to go up three with a minute to go. We run perfect secondary break and Naz gets the momentum right back.

Also another underrated one against Nevada in the NCAA tournament; Nevada was making a comeback and got the lead down to under 7 I think, and he hit a big 3 with the shot clock running down.
That shot was still the greatest moment I’ve ever seen in Hilton. I was well past my student days during that game but a relative snuck me into the student section for that one. I am in the background of that gif, losing my god damned mind. I always post that gif when I get an opportunity, and I will never apologize for it.

Naz is going to Italy to play for a club whose nickname is "The Germans". (I'm guessing that's because Brescia is right at the southern edge of the Alps.)
