I tell you what - as a diehard college athletics fan who struggles to care about the NFL and NBA this stuff really sucks.

What's even weirder about this, these schools are rivals? It's like they coordinated this with each other. Can you imagine iowa doing something like this with us?
A&M & Mizzou need two more schools to vote NO along with them and this is dead in the water.
Nebby has not enjoyed its time in the B1G by any means. They were complaining loudly about B1G leadership and threatened to sue. But I agree that it would take a bit more than just that. Why would they leave? Chances of Nebby leaving for an unstable Big 12 is zero. Chances of Colorado leaving for an unstable Big 12 is also zero.

I would think Ark and Florida (not wanting FSU) are candidates. Possibly Georgia.
This is exactly what I suspected is going on. Since we've been good(relatively speaking) the last four years you have this grand vision of Matt Campbell leading us to 11-1 records every year.and, again, it’s the short term implications that **** us over. I really think we have a shot to be a great football program. That’s very hard to maintain unless we are in a major conference.
The B1G has given N no schedule breaks LOL. Nebbie could also just keep their mouths shut for once.Nebby has not enjoyed its time in the B1G by any means. They were complaining loudly about B1G leadership and threatened to sue. But I agree that it would take a bit more than just that.
And what I said doesn't conflict with that, Tom Osborne.I'd rather not enjoy my time in a stable, highly regarded conference, than somewhat enjoy my time in an unstable conference dependent on two universities.
And make sure the horns are down.Someone in the CF shop needs to make a shirt that says “traitors” with the Texas and OU logos
And the Sooner Wagon is tipping overAnd make sure the horns are down.
Listening to Dan Patrick, a few things said.
1. He doesn't understand why Oklahoma would do this. Their path to a championship is easier in the big 12.
2. Albert Breer was on saying schools like Michigan and USC will be fine but schools like Iowa and Washington should be concerned if we go the route of super conferences.
The domino effect of this goes beyond the Big 12

I get it but these super conferences are so big now teams like Iowa can easily win the B10 west without having to play the bluebloods from the East. Its still a championship even if it's not as glamorous.my only thing about this...
matchups.
winning the big 12 over the likes of baylor, tcu, ttech, maybe az and az st doesnt necessarily tickle my fancy.
part of winning the big 12 is going through texas and/or oklahoma.
winning the big 12 year in and year out against those types of teams doesnt really have the juice it would if we were winning it year in and year out with texas/ou in the conf.
Make one with F*** yOU & the SECSomeone in the CF shop needs to make a shirt that says “traitors” with the Texas and OU logos
Never heard of her.I agree. Except for only one sport matters. Ask UCONN.
