So on offense we have a QB, 2 OL, 2 TE.
Seems like RB, WR and another OL would make sense. Who's our remaining priorities?

Same with the D, having 3 upfront, 3 LB, a safety and a CB. Probably 2 more in the secondary?

Seems to me like:

3 WRs: They are trending well for Gaines, Essex, Adams. If they miss on one of them, they only take 2 IMO.
1 RB: I think that's Townsend, but if they miss on him, they may just hold off and see what happens in the fall. Worked pretty well last year.
1-2 DBs: I think for sure they get one more Safety. Not sure on if they'll bring in a 2nd CB like Delaine.

I don’t know who’s left but I am not the least bit worried. I think this was Matt just walking out of his office:

My guess is a RB (Townsend), three WRs, (Gaines, Essex and Adams) another CB (Greg Delaine), hopefully, another DT (Tawfiq Thomas) and finally, another LB (Matt Rose).

That's 7 players, making for a class of 21. I don't think we get any more OLs because none have visited, other than the two who already committed.

This.

We have some promising young O-linemen so only signing two this year shouldn't be a big deal. I agree that we take 3 WR's, assuming the 3 that you named all commit to ISU, otherwise we probably take just 2. Another CB and DT would be great as well. RB is something we don't really have to have this year. I was hoping that we would land one, but we have a couple true freshmen that will be good, and Brock is still only a redshirt sophomore.

How many 4 star wide receivers have we had period? 3?
With Hutchinson likely gone to the NFL after this year, I wouldn't hate going after the best juco wide receiver on the market.. I know that's not the staff's style, but why not this year?
Oh and also go get a couple other guys iowa has also offered, just to rub it in their nose.

I mean, Hutch was a Juco wide receiver, so….

I think Essex is pretty much in. Hoping Gaines and Adams will be as well. Have we ever had a 4 star WR that actually ended up being good, other than Lazard?
As for the 3 WR's mentioned. when do you expect them to announce? How close are we on them? What are the chances of landing the 4*, Mr. Gibson?
Edit: Mr. Gibson (Jayden) has eliminated ISU from his list; for him it looks like maybe FL or GA.

Gains, and Essex both have dates set for commitments by next Saturday. Adams is at the end of the month.
