Tickets for UNLV game

Interesting threads from UNLV....
From the first link:

"Iowa State ticket demand isn't particularly because ISU "travels well", it is because ISU is playing in Las Vegas. ISU fans get road tickets to games like Kansas State or Texas Tech for $35 and the only other road opponent that is on the level of UNLV is Oklahoma ($125)."

El. Oh. El.

Basically I bought flights and hotel for an event that isn't selling me tickets.

I can book flights months in advance but for sown reason UNLV doesn't want to sell us a single game ticket.

UNLV doesn't want to sell single game tickets until they've milked Iowa State fans for as many season tickets as possible.

I'm in the same position as you... sitting here with plane tickets and hotel reservation, but no game tickets. I'll wait until next month to see if I can get single game tickets and if I can't, I'm going to cancel the trip and switch my Southwestern points for some other trip. Figure I can attend a Big 12 road game for half the cost.

Yeah, this is where I am.

Southwest flight booked and can cancel the hotel up to three days before without penalty.

If it doesn't happen, then the Southwest money goes towards a later trip.

I am already going to see the UNI, Iowa, and WVU games this year for 100% sure, so losing this one over something like this isn't the end of the world even if certainly very annoying.

We ended up purchasing 20 tickets through UNLV, we have 15 spoken for, with 2 more a solid maybe. So we should have three tickets, lower deck, section 128, ISU side of the field. Shoot me a message if you want the other three to five tickets. I will sell them at cost, which was $165 each.

Tickets are sold.

It looks like all the $121 tickets in the lower bowl if you’re looking for 2+ have sold out. There are some left at the $165. They opened up one 200 level section (224) opposite the other section people have mentioned getting group tickets from. Its like they just opened it because almost the whole thing is open. Maybe they will open the 200 level section by section. But either way $121 is still the cheapest seats in the house as of yet.

Not sure what all is included with "tailgating" parking, but it looks like you can add 1 to your cart from $1000 up to $9995....

From reading UNLV message boards, prices for "regular" parking are outrageous. At a recent concert, the cost to park was $100 at Allegiant Stadium.

From the UNLV board: "I'll ride my bicycle before I pay $ 40 to park a car. Of course, that doesn't hold if they want $25 to park a bicycle".

FYI the price for tailgating parking at the ISU game seems to be the same as their 1st game. (Unlike the price of tickets!)

looks like its a cabana for 18, tent for 36 and large group tent for 76 people calling to see what is included

I went ahead and purchased two season tickets and then was able to buy 8 additional single game tickets. I’m offering up to family and friends that are going but will post here and sell at cost if any extra.

Was there a limit on how many one season ticket could buy?

Just spoke with the ticket office. Was told they would be opening up 200 level tickets in the end zone for $121. When I explained I had flight and howls she said “we do not anticipate the game selling out”. Hopefully she knows what she’s talking about.
