I'm assuming the Iowa players are signing up for this because its like a "why not" situation.
I'm also assuming that translates into them thinking it will help with recruiting (it won't) because they encourage their players to be themselves and help market them.
I'm getting at I don't blame the players, I just don't think these guys are good enough to warrant making much money off it.
Honestly, if I were an Iowa fan, I'd pay money to chat with Jess Settles vs these guys because Jess has great insight on the game when I've heard/saw him.

I was about to ask the question who has more of a punchable face...Jorbo or Conor? Then I realized history has already answered it.

I think the biggest thing some of these players are going to realize is that is it is going to be lot harder to make money on NIL than they thought. One of the things you have to be good at is social media. But I am glad they are at least able to explore this now.

I'd imagine Georges Niang could have made some coin but PMac? I don't think so.
I think as a whole players well get some decent exposure money from the NIL stuff because the idea of more exclusive access to our favorite players is new/fresh...however over time it'll saturate and my guess is people are going to get sick of forking over ten bucks to see a player pimp fireworks.
Oh yeah, if you have a guy like that with a great personality and is great on the court, they could make some good coin. I mean if Niang wanted to he could get every business in Ames to give him money for his endorsement.
