Purdy to be on the cover of the 2021 College Football America Yearbook

Pretty neat. Will be available mid-July at Amazon and Barnes and Noble. They did say in the press release that the picture was taken in Ames at the Iowa State Texas game last year - so I assume it was taken 2 years ago since we played at Texas last year. Either that or they have the opponent wrong. Either way pretty cool for Brock and the program.

Seriously? This sounds like a big deal. It isn't just a regional cover like Athlon, is it?
 
I think it is national. To be honest I have never even heard of this publication but there are back copies of other years for sale on Amazon.

It's the black jerseys so it was definitely a home game.
 
For some reason I can't post the photo here but in 2014 Baylor was on the cover and they were playing Iowa State. #34 for ISU is on that cover.
 
It's cool....but man I hope the photo in the OP's link isn't the actual one they used for the cover. So many other great photos of Purdy in action or celebrating that night (Texas 2019), not mid-blink during a pregame warmup snap

I don’t know. I always thought Jesus had a bit of a Charlie Brown complex. Why not root for the team you identify with? That’s why I’m a Bears fan. Because I’m a bear.
