The Fran fade

Alford was .589 and .477 at Iowa.
Fran is .587 and .505 at Iowa.

I mean, that's pretty similar results to a guy that got ran.
Wow that’s actually pretty crazy. Yeah almost every single level headed Iowa fan I’ve talked to said they were giving Fran one more year (last year) to do something before they wanted a change.

Most Iowa fans I know were pissed about that extension a few years back Barta gave him that wasn't announced until someone like the Register or Gaz found out about it.

Yeah most people I knew were mad about that as well. Iowa State being not s*** awful this year will change even the most biased fan’s perspectives.

Common theme for Iowa, avoid playing the best team in the conference.

Or not playing them when they're their usual selves.

Granted ISU hasn't beaten a TEXAS Texas team but I also don't see many ISU fans acting like ISU is all of the sudden the center of college football either.

Although Iowa fans considered last year's basketball team to be truly special or whatever so it's just going to be that way.

With the most recent extension, his buyout doesn’t get below $10 million until after the 23-24 season ($8.52 mil).

For years now UNLV fans have thought they are a top 10 bball program. There were fans that weren’t upset with TJ leaving bc he had 1 down year. But no, they weren’t begging lol.

And yes we’d love to get into a pissing match about bball coaches lol. Fran hasn’t done jack s*** at Iowa since he’s been there. He’s been steadily above average and that’s it. Iowa fans are fine with that. At least Brodie is..

The last time UNLV was a power house program was when Jerry Tarkanian was there, and I'm just guessing there may have been some recruiting violations back in the day that were never caught. :D

Lon Kruger pumped some energy into them but he's an all time great.

Now this raises a bigger question Alford was super douchy is Fran douchy or just always angry/temperamental?
