Will we be getting new uniforms....again?

pull up pictures of our 1978 unis and tell me that. There is an old photo of the QB that year in the media guide and his jersey is VERY close to today's.

Maybe he was saving that playbook for when he got to Auburn.:skeptical::smile:

Agree. This is the Iowa State I became acquainted with and I like the getting back to the original colors. Keep the colors, change whatever else you want.
 
USC didn't really copy us. They have the same colors... there isn't a lot that can be done with the two colors and still look appealing.

USC (OJ) in 1968 or 1967.
 
I-State is pretty lame. Nobody refers to us as that, nor should they.

It'd be nice if our unis weren't maroon, but oh well. I like the design, just wish the color was more cardinal.
 
I really like the new unis, colors and logo. I don't like the helmets. No names on the jerseys until they earn them. I say ISU goes without names until they get back to a bowl game.
 
PLEASE put player names back on the jerseys. There is no reason not to. Also, I would be down for a helmet change, back to an old school yellow.

It's not about earning a name on a jersey. They earn that when they commit to play ball at ISU. For the fan's and media's sake, we need those names for easier player recognition.

I could see no name on the home jerseys to stay with the school comes first concept but put the names on the away jerseys. I understand the player recognition concept though.
 
I like no names on the jerseys...everyone is out playing for the TEAM. The media and fans can stop being lazy and simply learn the player numbers...it's really not that hard...Penn State and New York Yankees fans have been doing it forever, and they don't seem to be doing that bad.

We're not exactly the new york yankees
 
Our new jerseys will have a yellow stripe up the back to remind us of what happens when old coaches quit on you.
 
I want Chris Peterson Brought in from Boise State so he will decided to keep the uniforms but change the field. I'm thinking Cardinal Grass with Gold Line markings
