Iowa Football Recruiting

If a loss to you guys means we get the better QB the rest of the year, than I’m ok with that. That means we also will have a better chance at the west.
If NW can win the division with 2 games to play, I think Iowa might have it wrapped up by Halloween.

He’s actually had multiple good QB’s though. Banks, Tate, Stanzi, and he even made JVB look solid. Greg Davis and Brian Ferentz are a different story. At least Davis had Beathard.
You ever going to answer my question about Iowa Football Recruiting in a thread about Iowa Football Recruiting?

I helped you with that already. If he is irritating you just ignore it. That is what I do on here. I really post on here to get solid info. I would probably be gone from here if I just ponied up and paid for 247 info. Pretty much the same stuff as here but I do not want to spend 150 bucks lol. call me cheap. This site gives me info that I could just pay for but with huge bias and blanketed cheap shots.

NW is every bit as good as ISU and Fitz is on par with CMC and has sustained it longer than him. We did not admit they were good until we started losing to them on the regular. It is best to pay respect to that program as an ISU fan considering their history was like ISUs until the late 1990s. Since then they are very much competitive.

It is a recruiting thread so I will say this. If ISU starts to recruit the OL talent that Iowa has traditionally gotten, they may surpass Iowa if Campbell stays. They are almost there. It should make all Iowa fans a little nervous.

When your rival has over 200 plus pages dedicated to solely your team. It is warranted.

And how many other pages are there for everything else on this site. Once again, massively short sided and only concerned about Iowa. So much so to live here on the ISU board constantly. Why so many pages? Well, you have the last 6 posts so I think I have an idea...

and you are too much of a cheapskate to pay to be on your own board.

Plus the people that run your boards are either too self centered to put an ISR forum on or not smart enough to.

The 3-3-5 is gaining traction. I like it, and it is a nice fit in the big 12. Surprised Heacock has not had some head coaching opportunities.

Maybe he has, IDK. I know if I were in his shoes, I'd be hard pressed to leave. He's getting paid really well, Campbell makes sure his assistants are taken care of before himself, by all accounts it's a really fun atmosphere, and his boss is as humble as they come. Pretty hard to top that.

He had a 9 year stint as a HC at Youngstown State and put a few good years together, so he knows what that is all about. My guess is that he's at the age where he's not all that interested in climbing the ladder anymore...especially when considering that he'd likely have to take a pay cut for the opportunity.

They're already there. Our 2nd 5 as a group is arguably better than than most of the lines we've had in the past 40 years.

Yeah, he's not one to job hop. ISU had trouble pulling him out of Toledo. And now he's making almost $1M a year? Sorry, no one is poaching him as long as Campbell is here.
