Iowa Football Recruiting

In Kirk's defense, I am not sure how he would know that serving a young man a medium rare steak would be an extension of his racism.
You realize Brian Ferentz told Parker that "only a dumb ass black player would do something like that" when he made a mistake in practice right? I'm glad this is a joke to you

"Do I realize?". No, I don't. Someone may have "alleged" that statement in pursuit of a lawsuit, but I have no idea if it was actually said. It is a pretty bizarrely worded statement.

I do not know enough about the lawsuit, but do know Wadley is not the most credible person either. DJK and rare steaks was reported by ESPN though, so that has some merit to the conversation. When media is using those as pieces to push something, then it all counts the same to me.
So you don’t know anything about the lawsuit, nor Iowa recruiting. At this point what do you know? I’d suggest that you do some research before engaging in conversations on this board. As of now, your statements have no validity because you’ve confessed to not knowing much.

Yea, all this is just innuendo and conjecture. So much so the courts reviewed it and said a number of the counts will go to court. But don't worry hok fan, there is nothing here and even if there is, it warrants all of our effort to hide and minimize it for the good of the program.

I will give you guys a pass for not knowing anything about pleading construction, but the counts allowed to stand just meant they were plead properly. Doesn't have anything to do with the merits. Saw the got a 2023 trial date. You'd have to figure summary judgment motions will also be filed once discovery is done to address certain counts.

There's going to be a lot of opposing coaches that point out fans like him on reasons why not to go to Iowa. It took the victims a lot of courage to come forward knowing the criticism they would receive from their own fanbase

Oh that's right he must have just made it up. Smh

So it is your belief that mere allegations made in a complaint should be considered true? Would that eliminate the need for a trial? Defense attorneys all over should just find another career?

My bigger concern would be finding sympathetic jurors in Polk County.

Good, got it. It is all a ruse. Every program has these allegations going on and they just happened to go public at Iowa. No problems with the culture of that program.

Please make sure your fan base sticks to this take over the next 2-3 years.

Barta literally crying to the media, Doyle taking a buyout and Kirk saying he had a blind spot in all of this is enough for me to think these former athletes aren't liars.

I know you guys think Kallenberger is telling the truth though. I wonder why he is the only one you believe...

A key member of the staff got fired over this. That might be a step or two or ten beyond mere allegations.

Whoops, sorry, don't shoot me - he didn't get 'fired' - he stepped down to prevent the program from being damaged by this fakery.

I honestly thought Iowa fans would go the "yes Kirk was racist but he's changed" route by now. To dismiss the whole thing like this idiot is just wild

I don't know if Iowa will have a legal problem here or not. I would imagine there are enough $$$s available that if it heads that way, they will settle.

I do know they have a festering PR problem and complicating it is the fact that KF is coming to the end of his career and the fact that he wants BF to take his spot. We are only a few chapters into a long story on the PR side of this.

Wow I had not heard that one. Can you link me to that article? Or at least where it was at in the investigation? Seriously I had no idea about that statement by Brian.

I don't know what is a ruse and what is not. I was just pointing out the effect of getting by this type of dispositive pleadings motion. I do think this particular group of players will have their claims receive a decent amount of scrutiny through the legal process.
