Iowa Football Recruiting

I'm sure I'm missing more and I'm being generous here on the second list because I think multiple guys on that list were Crystal Balled to Iowa and could be in the "slam dunk" category

None of those guys have said they are not coming to Iowa because of ____. That happened at the tail end of the 2021 class with 2-3 guys.

The 2 in state LBs going to ISU does not surprise me. ISU should get some in state talent with what they are doing.

Actually Arlen Harris did but yeah I don't expect many recruits to say they're not going to Iowa because the head coach is racist and they don't have a S&C coach.

You wait and see what Iowa's AA recruits look like in this class and tell me if it is playing a factor. Deal?

Deal. I am sure it will play somewhat of a factor, I am not naïve to that. Arlen Harris was probably never going to happen. We have hardly ever got high end RB recruits to come to Iowa over the years. The others you have on your list have either gone to blue bloods or schools that are not surprising to me.

Arlen Harris and Ricky Parks were both going to Iowa until June happened

I knew about Ricky, but this is new info on Harris. I do think it turned him off, but of the current guys they are on, I do not think it is a pressing issue.

Harris is not someone that Iowa traditionally gets either.

I have.
One guy literally told Tyler Barnes "I'm not interested" when they called to offer a scholarship. A guy with only a few P5 offers.

I learned all about Iowa recruiting from this thread that you are on currently. Twins posted an article saying Thompson removed Iowa from consideration because of the allegations. All the Iowa fans like you were like “No, he is still considering Iowa”. Spoiler alert: he wasn’t.

I haven’t spoken to any personally, but a guy I know who runs an Iowa podcast has talked to multiple recruits. They’ve said that they don’t feel too worried about the allegations, and they believe Kirk will be able to work it out.

It's been quite entertaining watching these turd burglars continue to try to spin things. Their commitment to denying the damage KKKirk did to the program is almost commendable at this point.

This board is the like Parler of college message boards, its just made up BS and spin. You guys have tunnel vision. Basically recruiting has been at a stall at 95% of schools because of covid so Iowa having 2 recruits is what it is. You guys have 4, Alabama has 6. Recruiting starts in earnest next week.
