They missed on their RB recruiting and took a flier on a guy that looks to be athletic with raw ability.

That’s what would you’d guess without knowing the racial problems.

Their last like 4 out of the 6 hires for coaches have been AA, and they have retained and gotten recruits to attend Iowa after last year that are AA..... That is what that means. Not really slipping just dumping on your red and yellow reality

So the clones are going to get 10-15 athletes from FL to come to Ames? and like 5 more from Texas? that might next you about 5 guys if you are lucky. Where is the recruits from Omaha, Kansas City, St Louis, Chicago, Minneapolis? Not saying it is wrong to go for FL and TX, but those are less likely IMO.

I would not call ISU a powerhouse yet. Hopefully they will play like one this season. They are trending in the right direction.

Iowa wants him to play rb. If his UNI offer was for rb, then it wasn’t commitable.

I am interested to see if Campbell can sustain the success with low ranked recruiting classes. Ferentz has proven teams in the 50s and lower 40s sprinkled in make for up and down runs.

Just wait until Campbell's success starts bringing in even higher quality recruits. For every high quality recruit Rhoads or Chizik brought in, Campbell has brought in 5. Our 2nd string offensive line has as much talent as any of Rhoads' teams.

Campbell will sustain if for no other reason than because he has far fewer recruiting misses.

I think we’ll be fine. Iowa made one of the biggest reaches in p5 recruiting by taking Hilson for a pr move.

Seems weird that you are concerned about Iowa taking one reach in last year’s recruiting class when Iowa State took like a dozen.

The "warm" on 247. there are like 10 AA guys that are warm on Iowa. and 19 on ISU. Then look at all regardless of race.

Ayomanor is warm to Iowa and hes not going to Iowa. Bock and Eickholt can switch any player to warm they want and they're huge both huge homers
