When playing in the B1G West and avoiding tOSU consistently, 7-5 should be considered an utter failure.7-5 are down seasons at Iowa. Campbell is great, but by now I would think his coaching would net him bigger named recruits out of state.
Call it an over exaggeration, but we could be one soon with CMC at the realm. I’m just saying the best players come out of Texas and Florida, so I’m not sure why going there and trying to grab studs such as Eugenio, Gaines, Becht, Townsend, and all the guys with the last name Thomas that we’re recruiting is absurd. Iowa will likely follow this blueprint soon, as they’re watching ISU recruiting very closely. You’re deeming Iowa State a powerhouse now? Oh my god.
Um yeah that is why I said 7-5 are down years for Iowa? When playing in the B1G West and avoiding tOSU consistently, 7-5 should be considered an utter failure.
That’s actually a lot.I just counted the warms for both teams on 247, ISU with 19 AA and Iowa with 10........ not a huge difference guys.
Iowa does recruit there already. But like NE, they have a harder time retaining guys from FL. They always have. ISU might land like 2-3 of those guys. Who else fills the class?Call it an over exaggeration, but we could be one soon with CMC at the realm. One team sends out more offers than the other. Not hard to figure out whoThat’s actually a lot.
Now do the last 5 years......
One team will also get more AA recruits, not hard to figure out who.One team sends out more offers than the other. Not hard to figure out who
I think ISU lands anywhere from 5-8 guys from FL.Iowa does recruit there already. But like NE, they have a harder time retaining guys from FL. They always have. ISU might land like 2-3 of those guys. Who else fills the class?
There are down years, and utter failure years. In the B1G West, good teams should finish with only 2 or 3 losses. Perhaps a loss to Wisc, maybe NW. Then another loss to tOSU... oh wait. Nevermind.Um yeah that is why I said 7-5 are down years for Iowa?
A powerhouse?A powerhouse like Iowa State recruits all over the nation. The Florida guys love ISU btw.
Hey if you are using it, by all means do it for the last 6 years.Can't. Remember all you hawk fans did this for the season "*"
For being such a "thinker", you sure don't remember jack squat!!
Reminder for Iowa fans that their last AA recruit was getting recruited by Grandview and Briar Cliff.
You really are slipping. Your posts are getting weird. Why would a coach attend Iowa? What does that even mean?Yes we know. They will never get another AA player or coach to attend there according to this board.
I think we’ll be fine. Iowa made one of the biggest reaches in p5 recruiting by taking Hilson for a pr move.I would probably limit the recruiting smack talk when Iowa State put together one of the worst recruiting classes in all of P5 last year. You do you, though.
Their last like 4 out of the 6 hires for coaches have been AA, and they have retained and gotten recruits to attend Iowa after last year that are AA..... That is what that means. Not really slipping just dumping on your red and yellow realityYou really are slipping. Your posts are getting weird. Why would a coach attend Iowa? What does that even mean?
They missed on their RB recruiting and took a flier on a guy that looks to be athletic with raw ability.I think we’ll be fine. Iowa made one of the biggest reaches in p5 recruiting by taking Hilson for a pr move.
