When Iowa has had guys in the pass wanting to commit, but the offers were not committable until a visit to campus, you gave Iowa tons of crap for that. That is what I am saying about a committable offer.

When your OC comes out and says "our offers mean something", which was obviously a shot at other schools, he opens himself up to ridicule when it's proven otherwise. Campbell said no such thing. He has his recruiting process and isn't going to the press to badmouth anyone else. There's no wrong way to do it unless you are purposely lying to recruits and wasting their time while other options evaporate.

A lot of it is discussing recruits Iowa missed out on because their head coach is the worst human being of any CFB head coach. I guarantee if Campbell was found out to be a bad person and Iowa State was missing out on a bunch of recruits because of it there would be a huge thread on it
