I thought the state legislature said no? either way, ISU does not schedule tough teams out of conference and relay on Iowa as their bell cow. Much the same as Iowa does with ISU.

They are basically on the level of a Northern Illinois when they were in their prime. They are good, but not great.

LOL so you would rather we scheduled Virginia Tech who went 5-6 last year because Louisiana was just a good team and not a great team?

Well you usually know best. I will take your word for it. Maybe Pollard should try harder and grow a pair to just not schedule it anymore.

So it is both schools faults then. the legislature whines about state revenue and then forces both schools to play. Pollard needs to end it because Barta never will. We all know how he extends everything even if it does not look like it should be.

Lets be honest though...if both schools refused to play each other in the future...it is more likely that both schools add an additional MAC team to the schedule than they would add a school from the P5.

Louisiana was deemed good at the beginning of the year.

Actually we rely on playing our entire conference every year and not dodging the top teams for 5 years at a time. But Iowa doesn't hurt our schedule.

That would be stupid. Both schools would be ripped for that. Give Iowa Colorado and ISU Minnesota. It would be more fun to me as a casual fan of ISU
