I mean it’s only because of Petras. When Stanley was QB it wasn’t that bad.
The QB position doesn’t look good for Iowa. Been so downhill since Bethard and apparently nobody on Iowa is better than Petras.
I mean CJ got drafted in the third round lol, hard to replicate that every year
In 2019 if Smith never got hurt and continued his average of 4.6 catches per game for 55YPG he would’ve put ended up with 60 catches and 715 yards.

Only one of those kids from last years class will have a chance to get drafted due to BFs inability to call an offense that tends to the best athletes. He’s stubborn like his father.

His WRs sucked and the o-line wasn’t very good. He got drafted in the third round dude lol
Riley McCaron and Jermanic Smith were his WR1 and WR2. Kittle was injured for multiple games. Cole Croston and Boone Meyers were hurt for most of the season.
Riley McCarron (lol), Jerminic Smith (lol), and Vandeberg who broke his foot a few games into the season. OL was Boone Myers, Keegan Render, Daniels, Sean Welsh, and Ike Boettger I think. Iowa ran the ball well but were terrible in pass protection. Combine that with bad WRs and CJ got slaughtered out there
