While Steve didn't seem to be concerned with Iowa, Otz will have no problem getting the team ready. Given Fran's lack of imagination, the ISU team they face this year will be significantly different that last year's.
Im processing the inevitable ok, give me time hahaTyping all of that out doesn’t help your argument lol
That’s not a bubble team and that record doesn’t make sense. Not enough games.I think they can be 15-13 type team
PLEASE GODOffensively I fully expect Iowa State to have a completely different look. And when I say different look I mean not running the same high screen and roll every damn possession.
ok 17-16That’s not a bubble team and that record doesn’t make sense. Not enough games.
I think it’s still far too early to give definitive predictions, but I’m still reluctant to even say ISU will be close to being NIT. I think there’s a good shot both teams end with 12-14 wins. Similar to the 17-18 season.Im processing the inevitable ok, give me time haha
wait a minute..you're telling me NOT running a high ball screen and taking a contested 3 or long 2 isn't the best formula to win?Offensively I fully expect Iowa State to have a completely different look. And when I say different look I mean not running the same high screen and roll every damn possession.
PG Toussaint, Ulis, JBo, Connor
SG Perkins, JBo, Connor, Sandfort
SF Patrick, Connor, Kris Murray, Keenan Murray, Sandfort
PF Keegan Murray, Connor, Rebraca, Kris Murray, Patrick
C Rebraca, Mulvey, Ogundele
That is in no particular order. Unknown yes, but not lacking a ton of talent either. I think that team can push for a tournament Bubble spot. Possibly a 1st 4 type team. But they are likely NIT bound unless someone surprises.
Long 2s piss me off so much. Weiskamp was doing that this year to prove to the NBA he could make that shot. It is literally the worst shot in basketball.wait a minute..you're telling me NOT running a high ball screen and taking a contested 3 or long 2 isn't the best formula to win?
fr...Solo, Rasir, and Javan Johnson would always take those shots...pissed me offLong 2s piss me off so much. Weiskamp was doing that this year to prove to the NBA he could make that shot. It is literally the worst shot in basketball.
That team, depending on what the coach will do and we all kinda know, will have a good chance to be good defensively.I'll take teams that give up 80 a night for $500, Alex
To your first paragraph: LOLThat team, depending on what the coach will do and we all kinda know, will have a good chance to be good defensively.
Ideally I want Toussaint, Perkins, Patrick, Murray, Murray starting. Not a lot of proven scoring there, but a lot of athletic ability and defensive ability there.
It's hilarious to imagine Bohannon and Fran discussing him coming back and how they will really need to sell the narrative that Jbo's playing shooting guard and Joe T is running the show. Fortunately the perfect puppet exists and he is employed by 247 sports.

Yeah I’ll take things that never happened for 1000, please. Joe Toussaint’s playing time wasn’t in the back or front of Jordan’s mind when he was making his decision.

If this was such a great idea is there a reason they didn't do it last year?
