Chad just said on kxno that Joe W is most certainly gone and that Connor may become the focal point of the offense after being a pass first guy the last few years.
Wonders if Fran will even look at the portal and may get 1 or 2 guys at most.

I am looking forward to Connor becoming the focal point. Watching him in high school, his main skill is running to the corner and standing around hoping to jack a three.

Funny reading through their forums is how many are talking about Kentucky must have tampered with Fredrick, talking to him before he was in the portal. Odd they forgot all about tampering when they were talking to kids from Wisconsin and before that from ISU. Both transferred to EIU with a scholarship and playing time on the table.
But to them it was just an Iowa kid wanting to play for the home town team and his friends, but then do not want to give the Fredrick kid the same option to head back home to Kentucky.

Zach Mccabe's triplets looked really good last week in their game against Johnston Middle School. They combined for 17 points in the first half before getting tossed for fighting with fans.
Mike Gessel's son is only in 4th grade, but he'll be worth the wait. (His mother claims to be Vlade Divac's illegitimate neice!).

What’s the difference between what Nunge is doing and CJ is doing?
Nunge lost his dad and has had a rough go of it injury wise the last couple years. Pretty much has a free pass on the transfer thing. I get it. I don't get why Hawk fans are THIS mad about CJ though. Seems overboard.
CJ has had lots of injuries too. And both guys are going back home too for the most part.
So the only difference is that Nunge lost his father and CJ didn't. It's not okay for CJ to just want to go back home???
Did you see their reaction to Marble? Lol this reaction could’ve been seen 50 miles away. (That’s not a shot at you rather a shot at some of the “vocal minority” of their fan base)
At least they have the memories from the all time great team they had this year to keep them going through this rebuild.

Nope. Because CJ decided he didn’t want to be at Iowa a while ago. I can guarantee you some of those fans have thought about leaving their jobs months before they actually left.
The reality is that they can’t comprehend that maybe, just maybe, CJ didn’t like it at “their school”.
I think a big part of it is the whole “tampering” aspect of it. Which is dumb because tampering in college basketball in 2021 is like jaywalking
