Parker gets decent results being hyper conservative with a schedule that this works with. Decent athletes and they don't make mistakes. I don't think they can be counted on to get key stops though and they better have the lead going into the 4th Q. They have an above average defense, always have, always will.
Heacock is brilliant. He takes a gamble playing very bland defense and not showing things early. As a result, it is not uncommon for ISU to be down early/at the half. But you better be ahead of Heacock at the half by 2 scores or you don't have a chance. ISU has an excellent defense and I have a hunch it will be elite with more depth and some better health this year.
The script Iowa is so cool.
I like their bball jerseys with that script.
That is the one and only thing I will give Iowa.

I love that with the throwback basketball uni’s and they need to bring it back. Now they just need to bring back the yellow floor at Carver.

Agreed. If we can nab him, it will also play a role in future classes. In the class of 24, there is another kid out of Bellvue West. A WR that already has an Iowa and Nebby offer. Having two of his former HS teammates would have to help us.
I didn’t think he was comfortable with joining a racist program. I don’t think there is a clear favorite though.
He can visit other schools, and have a favorite. Eli Sanders visited Iowa, and ISU was always his leader.
Everyone is pretty certain Helms is going to Oklahoma, yet he’s visiting Miami, Auburn, and UNC. He’s doing his homework.
