Eli chooses, Fran loses

Nice try at evading. What I I meant is have not seen much as in I have not watched every minute of every Iowa game for the last 2 years. When I have watched, I see a guy who, when he is actually playing and not sitting on the bench or injured, is just there to catch the ball and pass it to Garza or Weiskamp, shoot well but at a very low volume, and play bad defense. What is it that I have missed in those other minutes of action that I haven't seen?
If you’re talking about CJF, his injuries have ended up plaguing him so far. When he’s healthy, he’s a sniper and actually does quite a good job at mid range jumpers and runners in the lane. His defense is also not bad when he’s fully healthy.

But therein lies the issue. He hasn’t been able to stay healthy and it’s hurt his performance, confidence, etc.

He's been the 4th option on offense, his usage rate was only 13.0. His role will be much bigger next season. He's shown a nice pull up/mid range game and can obviously stroke it from 3.

Thank you, that's all I was looking for was a straight answer. Not surprised I had to get it from a fellow Cyclone fan and not one of these trolls on here today.

Basically what I was getting at is it doesn't seem bold to say Kalscheur can't be as good or better than a guy who is A) Frequently injured and B) seems to play long stretches of time without making notable impact.

Will he be able to handle it? It seems like in the box score he can play for long stretches and not really produce a ton. I know from watching that I very seldom notice when he's on the court as opposed to not. Maybe that is more a product of deferring to Jorbo, Garza, and Weiskamp though. You have to hope there is an alpha gene in there somewhere, considering he is going to have to step up quite a bit next season.

His efficiency will drop some next season with the increase in usage but there is a reason Kentucky wants him to transfer there.

He wasn't a take at Kentucky which is why he wasn't going there. He was the fallback option to Kellan Grady
