Eli chooses, Fran loses

With Weiskamp and Garza gone, will CJ even be good? I can't say I've seen him play a ton. He is usually sitting out, or even when he's playing seems to just kind of stand there on both defense/offense kind of resembling a turnstile or shooting when he is completely wide open. Are there other facets to his game that I have missed or misdiagnosed?

I remember him more from box scores than from actually watching. Seems he is about a 20-25 mpg guy that can somehow play that long and only have a handful of shot attempts. Seems a lot of times he would have fewer field goal attempts than Connie Mac. Is he just not a shot hunter/not very aggressive? If he's that passive all the time, then there is no way he is going to be better than Kalscheur this year. He's going to have to become a playmaker on this years Iowa team, and I could be wrong but I have never seen it from him in the 2-year sample we have.

You guys are pumping this guy up a lot. Hope he is a star like you expect next year.
Saying he’s on a different level than Toussaint or Ulis doesn’t mean he’s a star or anything close to that. With that being said, I think he will be a star if he stays in Ames for 3-4 years.

An injured Fredrick is better than a 100% Kalscheur is another way to put it.

The only thing reliable about Kalscheur is he will hoist about five 3 pointers a game and make hardly any of them.

You needed banned just being this dumb!! Dumbest post of the year, by one of the worst troll posters on here.

Craig Brackins, Lindell, Tyrese Hunter, THT, Matt Thomas, George’s Niang.

Those guys are who round our top 6 recruits ever. Those other 5 seemed to do pretty darn well here. That’s why I’m excited about him.

This post went from not seeing CJ play much to knowing he hasn't been a playmaker over a 2 year sample size.

Who is Imming?
So you don’t know who played and started against Iowa 6 times and was one of the top players on a rival team? Now, you’re saying you don’t know who Jacob Imming is and he was your top LB target who grew up cheering for hok, but went to the best team in the state instead. What do you know?

At this point I think Georges should just save everyone the time and trouble and have his name officially changed to George's so that autocorrect can be right about this one.

I believe he had a death in the family that lead him to transfer to Tennessee, otherwise he would’ve stayed at Iowa. Very nice player.

He wasn't staying to play for Lickliter. He transferred to TN and got to play immediately because his dad was sick and lived somewhere around the area. I think his dad passed when Smith was still a Volunteer.

Nice try at evading. What I I meant is have not seen much as in I have not watched every minute of every Iowa game for the last 2 years. When I have watched, I see a guy who, when he is actually playing and not sitting on the bench or injured, is just there to catch the ball and pass it to Garza or Weiskamp, shoot well but at a very low volume, and play bad defense. What is it that I have missed in those other minutes of action that I haven't seen?

So to clarify Hunter is a better recruit than anyone Fran has landed?
