I will be disappointed if we are in X’s list. I genuinely hope our staff has completely moved on. We have multiple 4 star safeties taking officials to Ames the first two weeks in June. We should not be wasting our recruiting time on finishing behind Bama, Clemson, and OSU for a guy.

Here's an interesting thought Nate:

If you're a recruit in the '22 cycle (or even this past one), would you say there's a high likelihood that Kirk is the coach by the time you are a redshirt junior?

I would say less than 50% chance. He isn't coaching another 5 years.

Not sure why, as a WR, you'd want to go to iowa. They pretty much wasted two decently talented WRs in Smith and ISM. They don't put WRs in the pros. They run a fairly boring and conventional offense. And the racism stuff at the very least doesn't help matters. If a recruit has other good offers, they'd be dumb to go to IC.

How did they waste ISM and Smith? They were pretty good. I feel Smith should have came back for one more year.
