The people that vote on these awards don't watch games. They glance at stat sheets at the end of the season and pick based on what conferences the player plays in. I.e. someone with better stats, like the Oral Roberts kid, didn't place too highly on the list. Luka was fantastic, don't get me wrong, best Center in college ball this year. But to say you'd rather have him on your team than Jared Butler, Jalen Suggs, Johnny Juzang, Evan Mobley, Cade Cunningham, Ayo Dosunmo etc just to name a few is complete and utter blasphemy.
