Most decorated player in the history of the state. Amazing. Going to miss watching him in an Iowa uniform.
He was an awesome player for Iowa. Gonna be weird not seeing him out on the floor next year. Sucks that his last year was one where he never got to play in front of a full crowd.
Was reading Bolton's goodbye message and it seems like TJ forced him out.
Sounds like there might’ve been a lot more to it than we know. Also sounds like it had nothing to do with Bolton’s basketball abilities.
Doesn't really make a lot of sense in my mind. Guess TJ wants to start over fresh. Still kind of crappy to run a kid off that seemed like he wanted to stay.
Well, at least we didn't make him run around the court with a garbage can on his head. No one knows the whole story so why worry about it or create 50 worthless posts pissing about nothing.
Word in the thread is it was a team decision based on how he is/was as a teammate. Sounds a little strange but maybe that happens more often than we know.
Only thing I can think of is he'll be the first regular-time Hawk in the NBA since Ricky Davis. So about 15 years?
LOL it was at that moment, 19:03 in the 2nd half, Fran knew they were F***ed. Must be why he played the back end of his bench the last 7 minutes.
