I don't see it paying off but who knows. Otz probably knows he has a really long leash since he was hired by one of his best friends without much, if any, semblance of a search so he can afford to play the long game in the roster rebuild.
As you’ve mentioned plenty of times, we went 2-22 last year. Of course Otz is going to get time to rebuild lol.

I’d be so shocked if Patrick doesn’t start. I don’t think Joe T starts either.. I think if CJ comes back:
1. CMac
2. CJ
3. Patrick
4. Keegan
5. Big Josh or Grad Transfer
In many ways Patrick is better than Connor. At least Patrick has some limited skill at driving to the iron.
The phenomenon of Iowa players being old (Wieskamp), or in many cases way older than their grade (Murray x2, McCaffery x2, Ogundele, Fredrick, Nunge, Bohannon), is wild
Better than limited he gets to the basket with open looks pretty regularly. He's very bouncy too can get up quick. His problem was lack of touch and strength when he got into the lane
To be fair so is half of this board
He's definitely more gifted. He doesn't have same composure or IQ. Connor has a low ceiling but there are things he can provide
