The Fran fade

Let's face it, when you get boat raced by a 7, that gets boat raced by a 6, who gets boat raced by a 1, you probably aren't that great. I think the Big 10 was a good conference, and deserved lots of bids, but with so many fewer non-con data points than a normal season, it was hard to really judge conferences. The NCAA tournament is pretty unpredictable, but there is no way to deny that most people, myself included, dramatically overrated the Big 10.

But when you have 14 team league, with 9 bids that include a 1, 1, 2, 2, and a 4 and you win 8 games total in the tournament, that is a historical level of under-performance. Watching Illinois' guards overwhelm the Big 10 with their athleticism and quickness only to look completely ordinary against a Valley team was pretty eye-opening.
Guard play in the Big 10 was not good this year. Little surprise Iowa was able to finish 3rd with a backcourt of Jorbo and Connie Mac

I agree, no to Iowa. Liam will stay at Minnesota regardless of what happens, but if he did transfer he would just pull a Caleb Grill and go back to his original school (Drake).
I might be wrong here but I thought there was some animosity in Liam leaving Drake?

I can guarantee we’d rather have Liam lol.
Yeah I don't know what to make of this Denver kid. Seems like he was pretty average at a low-major that is usually average to below average. I guess he'd be alright to have for post-depth but I can't speak to his game whatsoever. With him and Conditt at 6'10'', Foster at 7'0'' and Kunc at 6'8'' we would have some legit size for a change. The problem is all of those guys are kind of unknowns/bench pieces (Conditt, Denver kid presumably).
