***Official 2020-2021 Transfer Thread***

This tsunami of transfers is ridiculous and it must be impossible for coaches to recruit this way. You spend years getting to know kids and their parents, visiting and communicating, in order to recruit them out of high school, and then when they transfer you might only get days to convince them your school is the best place for them to finish their development.

I'm not sure being at square one on a total overhaul of a program is the best place to be when approaching top players in this scenario. You basically have to offer tons of playing time and the opportunity to build a new culture and see what you can shake loose on a short timeline. It makes it hard to identify targets.

Hopefully the players are actively contacting ISU to show their interest as well.

Might be a bad example now, but the point still stands. Prohm recruited Harris and he went else where, then Prohm was able to get him later as a transfer.
